• While for the last 3 years most national brands pet food sale was flat, holistic pet food sale was experiencing double digit growth. Most of these holistic pet foods cannot be found in big box pet stores. They can only be found in independently owned specialty stores such as Titan’s Kingdom™.

• Kids of baby-boomers are now grown up and left their family. Those
parents are more likely to adopt new pets to fill their empty houses and hearts. They all have high disposable income or cash that they used to spend on their kids.

• Young high-income individuals are delaying to have kids or choosing not to have kids at all. More and more of them would prefer to have pets because of the lesser burden and responsibility.

• More and more of these pet-parents do not focus only about the
healthiness of their pets but also their “happiness”. They will do their best to keep them happy such as bring them to a daycare or a cageless boarding facility where their dogs can play with their friends while they are at work or traveling.
